AMUA Makeup Artist Training Facility

The Academy of Make Up Arts training facility is located less than 10 minutes from beautiful downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

AMUA’s facilities occupy over 13,000 square feet on the ground level. Suite 100 holds our main office, beauty studio, costuming studio and dressing room, photography space, student library, computer lab, break room, and retail store where students can build and restock their kits.

Our Beauty Programs take place in Suite 100. The classroom is equipped with workstations featuring daylight balanced backlit mirrors and makeup chairs. 

Our Special Effects Lab is located in Suite 102. This lab has an HDTV, a commercial-grade mixer, a vacuum former, walk-in proofer for the curing of foam latex, evacuator, triple beam scale, dehydrator, Dremel tools, hammer drill, screw guns and everything needed to run a small special effects makeup shop.

Our Wig & Hair Design Lab is also located in Suite 102. The classroom has state of the art equipment including workstations, hair dying equipment 3D printers, and wig dryers.
