Affording Higher Education at the AMUA
Financial aid provides assistance to students who may not have the means to attend a private school. Our staff is always available to speak with potential students and parents about your options.
How to Deduct Education Expenses
When you’re self-employed, you can deduct the cost of education for your trade or business on Schedule C if the course maintains or improves skills you need in your trade or business.
We don’t accept Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA)
Due to our very small class sizes, it isn’t feasible for the Academy of Make Up Arts to participate in government-sponsored financial aid programs. In order to make this financially feasible, we’d have to enroll 8x the amount of students that we currently enroll.
Instead, our focus is on high-quality education and not taking on more students than we can help find employment in the field.
There are tax benefits that can help taxpayers with their expenses for higher education.

Tuition Installment Plans
Our tuition installment plans offer students the option to spread payments out over a period of time. Because there are substantial overhead costs involved with running our programs, a down-payment is required for all installment payment plans. This amount varies depending on the program and the overhead associated with the program.
