Our Work, Learn, Earn Model
During your first year, most of your work will take place in the classroom/studio. You’ll be busy learning the foundational skills from which you’ll continue to build upon.
As your skill-level progresses you’ll likely be tasked to help fellow students with projects or jobs. By the time you’re half-way through the program, you’ll likely be working backstage or behind the camera either for professional credit or for pay.
Most students are accepting paying jobs before they complete their training at AMUA, and many have job offers before graduation.
We do not recommend students have jobs while enrolled in this program as it requires a lot of time and effort both inside and outside of the classroom.
Our students gain experience, and they get hired.
