Our Work, Learn, Earn Model

During your first year, most of your work will take place in the classroom/studio. You’ll be busy learning the foundational skills from which you’ll continue to build upon.

As your skill-level progresses you’ll likely be tasked to help fellow students with projects or jobs. By the time you’re half-way through the program, you’ll likely be working backstage or behind the camera either for professional credit or for pay.

Most students are accepting paying jobs before they complete their training at AMUA, and many have job offers before graduation.

We do not recommend students have jobs while enrolled in this program as it requires a lot of time and effort both inside and outside of the classroom.

As a soon to be graduate, I can say with the utmost confidence that this is the best school I've ever attended. Every member of the faculty ensures that your educational need and goals are exceeded. Each educator has a thorough background in their specialty and more. All of them have an amazing ability to spread their knowledge to others around them. Every semester this school grows in impressive ways and continues to expand to become better and better. I have absolutely no concerns about the skills and resources this school has given me to thrive as I continue my career! I would encourage any artist looking to further themselves in this industry to take a look at this place as they may be able to call it a home too.
