So I'm going to share with you this invaluable tool that I borrowed from the book 'Organizing Your Day' by Sandra Felton.  I read this book several years ago as a beginner business owner and several of the techniques I still incorporate in my day-to-day operations today, including this one. Field Trip Fridays: Warren Co. Kentucky High School

Field Trip Fridays: Warren Co. Kentucky High School

AMUA had the honor of hosting the senior art students from Warren County High School (Kentucky) this past Friday. We organised the Field Trip Fridays in which the students learned about the career possibilities of makeup artists, toured our facility, and watched one of their classmates get turned into a zombie by our own Emmy-award winning Instructor Ben Rittenhouse. The students then had the opportunity to turn each other into zombies using the techniques and materials presented by Ben. Schedule a field trip for your junior/senior art, drama, and cosmetology students by calling 615-925-9963!

That is when life happens and everyone tells you to figure out what you want to do with your life; something that is sensible and responsible and ‘realistic’. I found myself in jobs that used some of my skill set, but didn’t make me come alive. I was content enough to live my life, find the man I was going to marry and become a mom. I was on my way to…
