AMUA Alum Allie Corzine Takes 1st Place at IMATS Sydney 2017

We've been so busy making progress, we might have failed to mention our Allie Corzine took first place at IMATS Sydney last month! Allie graduated from the Advanced Makeup Artist Program in March 2017. She was selected as one of eight finalists to compete at IMATS Battle of the Brushes New York in April where she took second place. That's not enough for this girl! She was selected again to compete at IMATS Battle of the Brushes in Sydney, Australia where she took first place with an improved version of the first design. Way to go, Allie!

Academy of Make Up Arts would like to congratulate two of our recent grads for getting selected to compete in IMATS L.A.'s 2017 Battle of the Brushes! Brittany Goodrich of Franklin, Tennessee and Abbey Minor of Nashville, Tennessee have the huge honor of representing AMUA in the Beauty / Fantasy Competition in January. Congratulations to AMUA Advanced Program Graduate, Elizabeth Anne Romano of Saranac Lake, NY for earning third place at IMATS New York's Battle of the Brushes. Key Publishing Group, known for Makeup Artist Magazine and International Makeup Artist Trade Show (IMATS) chooses only eight students from professional makeup schools around the world to compete in this exciting competition. Each year, 8 finalists from professional makeup schools around the world are chosen to compete in this exciting competition. We are proud to announce that an AMUA graduate will be competing again this year in New York! Elizabeth Romano, from Saranac Lake, NY graduated from our Advanced Program in December 2013.
