We're having a hard time believing that we're already a month into classes! Our students are thriving and learning so much about beauty, special effects, wig making, photography, drawing, and sculpting. They are working on the makeup, scheduling, and directing their photoshoots to show off their work. And the results are FANTASTIC. But that's not all! AMUA Special Effects Makeup Headlines Tennessee Performing Arts Center Event

AMUA Special Effects Makeup Program Director, Ben Rittenhouse and program alumni Colter Wilson and Faith McLane, were featured at the Art of Special Effects Makeup event held at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center alongside other area Makeup artists. The AMUA team transformed Nashville Ballet dancer, Nicolas Scheuer, into an Underworld-inspired vampire in front of a packed theater audience of local and regional professionals. Congratulations to AMUA Advanced Program Graduate, Elizabeth Anne Romano of Saranac Lake, NY for earning third place at IMATS New York's Battle of the Brushes.
