We love hearing what alumni have been up to since they graduated from AMUA because they end up doing really amazing things!
We’re sharing Jenni Walton’s story today, who has been very busy with pursuing her makeup career!
She says: “Since graduating, I have been hired as key in house HMUA for two different photographers. I also work with Don McPeak (Sports Illustrated and Reuters photographer) for all of his work in Nashville.
I have worked on numerous music videos and films, as well as a Discovery ID docu-drama series. I work with artists under Epic Records for Nashville appearances and productions. Travel is not really feasible right now, but next year I am scheduled to travel with an artist out of Epic Records as her key artist for the 3 tours she has scheduled!”
Here are some more projects Jenni has been working on:
- She worked on the set of Jess LaCoy’s first solo album. Jess is the lead guitarist for two other artists and toured with Bruno Mars and Camilla Cabello.
- She worked on a video for Marta Palombo, a student at Belmont who is currently preparing to release her first album.
- She has been working with Kane Brown’s mother and has been able to do her makeup for many appearances throughout his tours. Kane always brings her on stage for his tribute song to her!
- She is also working on a Netflix series that will likely air this fall.
