AMUA Alumni Take Over the Big Apple

We're so proud to announce that five from our Tribe have made their way to New York City! Not only that but they're fully booked up! Look out, Big Apple, here we come! Academy of Makeup Arts Alumni Kella Groves produced an impressive amount of work since her graduation a few short months ago. Immediately after graduating from the Makeup for TV & Film Program in March, she won "Best Makeup" in the 54 Hour Film Fest for the short film titled "Diamond in the Rough". As a spotlight on AMUA’s graduate network, we’ve sat down with alum McKenzie Gregg to talk shop, finding success, and doing what you love so you can love what you do.  A Nashville native, Kenzie graduated from AMUA in 2012 in the Professional Makeup Artist Program.  She forged her own career as a professional makeup artist working for such notable clients as Jack White, Timbaland, Devon Bostick, Dean Norris, and Mara Marini.
